These aren't your parent's flags....
The Flag series are composed of a multiple layering of thick textured paint. The effect strikes many as being similar to pointillism. But I believe the impact is much more fun. Kids love to touch the surface, and have a strong opinion of what the texture is like.
YES...I let people touch my paintings! I even tell them to please do so! I am constantly amused by expressions like: OOOh Cake Frosting, Yummy! Or...Cool Confetti, one little girl even thought it was cat litter! Don't give me any ideas was my reply.
The application of the paint on these flags is time consuming, with close to 50 layers of paint and vanish. If you are patient you can custom order any size you require, see suggestions below. I paint many different flags, French, Italian, German, Mexico Etc. I build and stretch custom sizes. Of course my personal Favorites are: TRUE TEXAN & TRUE AMERICAN
